Beware of QR Phishing (Qshing)

Cyber scams using QR codes are on the rise. 

Qshing is a newly coined term combining QR and Phishing. 

It refers to a hacking crime that exploits fake QR codes to steal personal and financial information.

When you scan a fraudulent QR code, a malicious app may be automatically downloaded, allowing hackers to access your personal data or even your bank account—leading to serious financial damage.
