Temporary Waiver of Offline Issuance Fees for Immigration Documents

Due to the suspension of immigration document issuance via 'Government 24' (the Korean government’s official online service portal), caused by the recent fire at the National Information Resources Service, the Ministry of Justice has 

decided to temporarily waive the 2,000 KRW fee for offline issuance of nine immigration-related documents, 

including the Certificate of Entry and Exit and the Certificate of Nationality Acquisition.

This temporary fee exemption will remain in effect until 'Government 24' services are fully restored.

This measure is intended to minimize inconvenience for individuals who must visit an immigration office and to reduce 

any associated financial burden. The Ministry of Justice remains committed to alleviating difficulties during this period 

until the restoration of key national data systems is complete.
