Recently, there have been cases of voice phishing scam (phone fraud) attempts impersonating
the Korea Immigration Service (Border Control Division) of the Ministry of Justice, using
international phone numbers. Please refer to this announcement,
and take extra care to avoid any damage.

The Korea Immigration Service never uses international phone numbers when contacting people,
and never notifies the travel ban status via messages.
