○ Ministry of Justice has supplemented the new regulation regarding the obligation to carry and present a written diagnosis when seeking re-entry, considering that it is difficult to obtain a medical certificate from a local medical institution when leaving the country for a short period of time for the purpose of business, journalism or academic activities.
○ Foreigners who have a 'Medical Examination Exemption Certificate (attached)' issued by the Immigration Office before departure will be exempted from the obligation to carry and submit a medical certificate at the time of re-entry into the ROK.
○ Additionally, the Ministry of Justice has expanded the time-limit (within 48 hours prior to departure) for a medical certificate, and the scope of recognition of the language of issuing a medical certificate as follows, taking into account unavoidable circumstances such as difficulty in accessing to local medical institutions.
